The South Strand Republican Club (SSRC) was founded to:
- Promote an informed electorate through political education and activity.
- Identify and support projects, laws, statues and financial commitments promote and improve conditions in the South Strand Community.
- Increase the effectiveness of citizens in the case of good government through active political participation.
- Facilitate co-operation among the various National, State and Local Republican organizations.
- Foster the Republican Party and promote its principles and ideals.
- Support the objectives and policies of the Republican National Committee and to work for the election of Republican Party nominees.
Membership in the SSRC is open to all citizens and legal immigrants dedicated to the cause of good government. All members must be registered South Carolina voters.
